CABWI NRSWA Reassessment Course in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire
On the CABWI NRSWA Reassessment course you will reassess any outstanding streetworks units that you already hold, this course is just theory with no practical element. It consists of training and theory exams for each unit of the NRSWA.
This training is essential for operators/supervisors to refresh their knowledge of the legislative framework, practical actions they must take, safety principles and more in NRSW.
- In addition, delegates will review legal requirements, ensure safety compliance, and understand procedures and appropriate documentation and classifications.
- Locating and avoiding underground apparatus
- Appropriate signing, lighting and guarding
- Excavation on the highway
- Reinstating compacting and backfill materials
- Reinstating sub-base and road base non-bituminous materials
- Reinstating bituminous materials
- Reinstating concrete roads
- Reinstating modular surfaces and concrete footways
At the end of the training, successful delegates will be re-qualified in all the modules from their previous street works card qualification. Certificate and card on completion.

- NJUG (National joint utilities group)
- The Red Book (Safety at Street Works and Road Works 2013 – Code of Practice)
- The Pink Book (An Introduction to the Use of Portable Vehicular Signals)
- HAUC spec (Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways – Fourth Edition May 2020
