CCSNG Leading a Team Safely in Stourbridge
The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course is designed for supervisors and lone workers who have responsibility for managing the health and safety of a team of workers. The course builds upon the knowledge provided by the CCNSG Safety Passport course to develop the delegate’s understanding of health and safety leadership.
The LATS course is designed to be interactive, including discussions and exercises throughout the day. It focuses on the essential health and safety skills required by supervisors and team leaders, such as planning, implementing and reviewing health and safety processes.
Supervisors and team leaders play an important role in ensuring site safety. They can influence the behaviour of those that they supervise and ensure good planning and communication of health and safety related to site work. A good leader can help to ensure workers are safe on site with a lower risk to themselves and others.
Who is the CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Course For?
The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course is designed for supervisory staff, management team leaders and lone workers who have a responsibility for themselves and their teams.
Delegates must hold a valid and in date CCNSG Safety Passport card in order to attend this course.
Delivery Method
This course is delivered in a traditional classroom setting in Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY8 1TA.
Course Content
This one-day course builds on the understanding gained by obtaining the CCNSG Safety Passport for site working.
The course focuses on the essentials of being a leader and covers essential aspects such as planning, implementing and reviewing, naturally with a health and safety emphasis.
The course covers key topics such as:
- How to communicate successfully
- How to lead a team successfully
- How to achieve safe outcomes
- Self-management
- How to work safely with others
Course Assessment
This course is assessed with a multi-choice question paper which is issued to delegates at the end of the day.
Successful completion of the CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course will result in the delegate being issued with a Safety Passport for leading a Team Safely by ECITB.
The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course will need to be retaken prior to the expiry period of their CCNSG Safety Passport card (every 3 years).

Our NEBOSH and IOSH courses have expert tutor support available, should you have any issues developing your understanding of part of the course you are able to contact one of our tutors for assistance. Our tutors have been providing NEBOSH and IOSH training courses for over 28 years and are well equipped to help you if you get stuck at any point during your course.
Progress Tracking
All of our health and safety e-learning courses come with inbuilt progress tracking. For short courses like awareness courses, this may be in the form of a percentage bar that shows how far through the course you are, and for longer courses like NEBOSH certificates each unit will have its own progress bar. This allows you to see how much of the learning material you have covered, whether it’s for a 15 minute course, or a 110 hour course.

Step 2
Once you have paid for your course(s), you will receive an email from our team advising how to begin your training.
