CCSNG Safety Passport Renewal Course in Penrith
The CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course is designed to update safety passport holders on new legislation and safety practices before their current passport expires. Attending the renewal course before your passport’s expiry date is mandatory.
The safety passport is accredited by the ECITB/CCNSG (Client Contractors National Safety Group). This qualification is suitable for individuals wishing to renew their existing CCNSG Safety Passport. Current passport holders can attend the renewal course up to three months before their passport's expiry date.

- Updates on legislation and safety practices
- Refresher on areas covered in the original safety passport
- Hazard spotting and job safety analysis
- Issuance of CCNSG Safety Passport
Upon successfully completing and passing the renewal course, participants will receive a temporary passport or an acknowledgement at the end of the training. The temporary passport is valid for six weeks, during which the ECITB will issue the official safety passport to your home address, typically within three weeks post-course. The new CCNSG Safety Passport will expire three years from the expiry date of the current passport.
Entry Requirements
Participants must hold a current and valid CCNSG Safety Passport. If you do not possess a current and valid passport, you will need to attend the full two-day CCNSG Safety Passport course. A good understanding of verbal and written English is also required.
National Insurance Number & Photo ID
All attendees must bring a form of photo identification and their National Insurance number.
Further Study
After completing the renewal course, you may choose to enrol in the one-day CCNSG Leading a Team Safely course. To be eligible, you must hold a current and valid CCNSG Safety Passport.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
