A company director’s responsibilities relating to health and safety
Getting it right, encouraging a positive health and safety attitude, safety culture and behavioural safety.
Being aware of the need to analyse your legal duties
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, fees for intervention, management liability, legal aid and related legislation. Consider how their decisions affect the health and safety of the company.
Plan, Deliver, Monitor and Review
Health and safety management, monitoring health and safety. Locating and using competent health and safety assistance and the limitations of using assistance.
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and duty-holder roles apply.
CDM, definitions, and the construction phase plan.
Putting people to work safely; the principles and importance of risk assessments.

Final Exam
