The CITB SSSTS Refresher course is designed for delegates who have completed the 2-day SSSTS course within the last five years and can provide proof of successful attendance. Only individuals who have passed the two-day Site Supervisor course and provided evidence will be eligible for the refresher training.

Course Objectives

This refresher training aims to update construction health and safety knowledge, covering recent legislative changes and their impact on the workplace. It improves awareness of recent developments in construction, health and safety legislation, environmental issues, and responsibilities under new laws.

Course Content

The SSSTS Refresher course covers a wide range of topics influenced by procedural changes since the original course. It teaches individuals to:

• Understand their responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare, and environmental issues.
  
• Implement relevant legislation as supervisors.
  
• Be aware of their duties and responsibilities in managing daily activities.

Important Information

• Photographic ID is required for all delegates.
  
• Written parental consent is required for delegates under 18.
  
• Failure to provide these on the first day may result in exclusion from the course.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.
