Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher Course
Temporary works are often high risk and business-critical therefore require careful co-ordination. The CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher course trains delegates as to the need for a Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher (TWC) and on the importance of the 4 C’s in addition to:
- Temporary works procedures outlined in BS 5875:2019
- Good risk management in regard to BS 5975:2019
- The role and responsibilities and relevant documentation relating to the TWC
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Current legislation, H&S and risk assessments relating to temporary works
Who is the CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher Course Suitable For?
This online CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher course is suitable for holders of an existing CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certificate with responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works.
This TWC Refresher course must be taken before the expiry date of the original CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certificate.
What's Included in the CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher Course?
The main aim of the CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher course is to focus on the processes involved in temporary works particularly the role of the TWS. This is not a temporary works technical awareness course, although there are elements of technical awareness signposted throughout and included in the course exercises.
Attendance alone does not confer competency which comes from a combination of education, training and experience, as judged by an appropriate senior individual, most usually the designated individual. Training is considered an essential element of TWS competence.
