The IOSH Working Safely online course provides the knowledge and skills that anyone worldwide can use to remain safe while working in their occupation.
The course is split into 4 parts:
- Part 1 – Introducing Working Safely
- Part 2 – Defining hazard and risk
- Part 3 – Identifying common hazards
- Part 4 – Improving safety performance

Assessment
The course is assessed in two parts (30 minutes). It has an exam style multiple-choice assessment and a virtual hazard spotting exercise.
Certification
You will receive your results after the assessment, and if you have successfully passed both parts of the you will receive a certificate from IOSH in 6-8 weeks.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
