Who is the IPAF Harness Awareness, Use and Inspection Course Suitable For?
This IPAF Harness Awareness, Use and Inspection course is aimed at people whose work includes operating from a MEWP.
Aims of the Course
To enable delegates to:
- Understand the relevant Health & Safety Regulation, Guidance and Standards
- Have the ability to identify and select the correct form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) against falls from height when working from a MEWP.
- Inspect, maintain, monitor, fit and correctly use a harness.

This course is delivered in a physical training venue in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, M23 9GP.
IPAF PAL Cards Go Digital!
From 1st June, all candidates who successfully complete their IPAF training will receive their licence, logbook, and safety guide digitally through the IPAF app straight to their phone rather than receiving a physical version as previously issued.
All IPAF documents including their licence will be accessible through ePAL which is free to download on all IOS and android devices. IPAF require all individuals attending an IPAF course to download the ePAL App prior to the training course. They will then be presented with a unique ID number. This number and the individuals email address must be passed to the instructor delivering the training at the time of the course.
If you would like a paper version of the certificate and licence, it MUST be requested at the initial point of booking the course.

For short courses a completion certificate is available at the end of the course. You can screenshot this or print it out to confirm completion of the training.
For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
