Course Content
The course is made up of presentations, question and answer sessions, activities and projects. End of course assessment is a scenario based Open Book Exam completed at home. It will take around 8 hours and you have 48 hours to complete the assessment and return it to NEBOSH. The tutor will support the learner’s knowledge and understanding by classroom and individual discussion.

Course Duration
10 Days
Classroom learning takes place over 10 days. Due to our extensive background in the construction industry, we know that those who have health & safety responsibilities in construction are usually very busy people! For this reason, we break up the 10 day course into two weeks (usually with a break in between) consisting of 5 days of study

Assessment
The assessment will take place in the form of an Open Book Exam. Compass will provide NEBOSH Construction Certificate Online or In-person Classroom learners with a copy of a physical study aid book, as well as access to Compass’ online learning portal.
NEBOSH will issue successful delegates the certificate upon successful assessment.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course. NEBOSH recommend that delegates have a minimum standard of English, as they must be able to understand and communicate the concepts in the course content, and complete the written exam and practical assessment. Delegates should have a basic knowledge of health and safety, and an understanding of what happens in their workplace. The information you will need to know for the practical assessment and the exams will be covered in the course.
