Course Aim

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates of this course will learn how to manage illnesses and injuries that may occur in the workplace and be equipped with the life saving skills for emergency first aid situations.

Consisting of theory and practical work with a written and practical assessment.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who wishes to learn about First Aid and how to support colleagues who have taken ill through illness or injury at work.

You must be over 14 years of age to take this qualification.

Learning Outcomes

The course covers the following areas so the learner will:

• Understand and manage a range of illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

Certification

Upon successful completion, the candidate will be issued with certification by Qualsafe, valid for 3 years.
