SA051c Tetra Leaning Ladder & Flat Roof Training in Accrington, Lancashire

This SA051c Tetra Leaning Ladder & Flat Roof training course is designed to teach the Tetra Safety system which is required by anyone climbing poles or ladders on the Openreach Network, Virgin Media, EE, City Fibre and more.

Introduction

This accreditation sets out the requirements for implementing the safe working practices for Leaning Ladder & Flat Roof Accreditation to candidates were works is undertaken in dwellings, including multi occupancy units. It is intended that during this training all learners will gain an understanding of the hazards and potential risks of leaning ladders and flat roof access, whilst developing the required knowledge to implement safe working methods via the use of fall protection equipment, that will enable these systems to be used safely.

A practical test is followed by a multiple choice test, 85% must be achieved to pass.

Prerequisites

This accreditation course is available to anyone over the age of 16 who can reach the required standard, is medically fit to attend, and have previously gained competence and experience in the setting up, using and inspection of leaning ladders. All learners must attend with a Tetra leaning ladder and flat roof kit and be prepared to complete a medical statement sheet. 

This 1-day programme is designed for an assessor ratio of 1: 6 people.
