CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course in Wolverhampton

The CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is a one-day entry-level qualification for anyone working on a UK construction site. It is one of the recognised routes to a CSCS Labourers Green Card and is often the first safety training a new site worker completes.

• Your responsibilities and those of your employer
• Common site hazards and how they are controlled
• Working at height, manual handling and hazardous substances
• Personal protective equipment
• Reporting accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions

Assessment and Certification

Assessment is by multiple-choice test at the end of the day. Successful delegates receive a CITB Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness certificate, which is accepted by CSCS as the training element of a Labourers Green Card application.

For accredited courses a certificate will be sent directly to you from the appropriate awarding body.

All you need to complete our e-learning courses is a computer, tablet or smartphone, an internet connection and Zoom.

To attend a remote online course delegates must have access to a computer, laptop, tablet or phone that uses a microphone and webcam.

E-learning is flexible, efficient, and cost-effective, meaning you can progress through the modules at your own pace, at your own time to fit the training in around your work and personal life.

Short online courses also help employers to demonstrate that they have fulfilled their legal duties to ensure their personnel have been adequately trained.

Once the courses have been completed, a confirmation of results can be saved or printed as evidence. This can then be kept on record as evidence of suitable training.
